Solar grants on Income Support
Income Support is a qualifying benefit for ECO4 solar grants, provided your home is electrically heated and rated EPC D to G.
If you receive Income Support, you meet the benefits part of the ECO4 criteria. The scheme then looks at how your home is heated and its energy rating. Solar PV is funded where heating is electric. We confirm the full picture honestly before referring you.
The three things that need to line up
- A qualifying benefit - which, with Income Support, you have.
- Electric heating - solar under ECO4 is only funded where your home is heated by electricity, not mains gas.
- An EPC rating of D to G - the scheme is aimed at less energy-efficient homes.
